The dental hygiene model is a classic demonstration and teaching model for visual instruction in cleaning teeth.
Details about the dental hygiene model:

- Movable upper and lower jaw (flexibly connected)

- Comes supplied with a giant toothbrush
The dental model was developed principally to demonstrate correct tooth brushing and is therefore particularly suitable for use in kindergartens and schools. However, it is also used in dental practices in the context of prevention and ‘dental hygiene’ or ‘brushing courses’ for children and youths.
The following are represented:
- Set of teeth comprising 28 teeth
- Gums
- Tongue
In order to be able to demonstrate all cleaning techniques, in this dental hygiene model the upper and lower jaws can be opened and closed. Moreover, the tongue can be folded upwards so that the palatinal surface of the molars is easily accessible.
The dental hygiene model is magnified by approx. 3-times life-size and is supplied with a giant toothbrush.
Please note that the toothbrush is meant solely for demonstration purposes.

Warum ist das Zahnpflegemodell so groß?
Das Modell wurde absichtlich so groß konzipiert, damit man die bei der richtigen Zahnputztechnik ausgeführten Bewegungen der Zahnbürste besser nachvollziehen kann. Bei einem kleineren Modell würden auch die Bewegungen kleiner ausfallen und man könnte schlechter erklären, worauf es ankommt.
Kann man für das Zahnpflegemodell eine Ersatzzahnbürste nachbestellen?
Leider ist es momentan nicht möglich eine Ersatzzahnbürste für das Modell zu ordern.
Welche Teile an diesem Modell sind beweglich?
Die Kiefer sind beweglich miteinander verbunden, so dass die Kieferöffnung nachempfunden werden kann. Außerdem ist die Zunge nach oben beweglich, damit die Reinigung der inneren Zahnflächen im Unterkiefer erläutert werden kann.
Wo kann das Zahnpflegemodell zur Anwendung kommen?
Das Zahnpflegemodell eignet sich z.B. zur Demonstration von Zahnpflegetechniken in Kindergärten, Schulen und natürlich in Zahnarztpraxen.
