About Praxisdienst
Founded in 1953 in
Wuppertal, Germany, Praxisdienst is one of the companies with the
longest tradition in the German medical equipment sector. From
the very beginning Praxisdienst has centred its activities on
supplying general practitioners, hospitals, healthcare institutions,
alternative practitioners, physical therapists and emergency medical
services with medical devices and consumables.
In 1978, Praxisdienst
moved its headquarters from Wuppertal to the city of Longuich near
Trier. In the years to follow, our company continuously extended
its product range and progressively expanded its activities to cover
other countries. This was favoured by the convenient location
of our sites with short routes to France and the Benelux countries.
Our corporate philosophy
is simple and transparent: “one product, one price, providing a
consistently high-quality service” applies to all our customers, no
matter which country they are buying from. This philosophy helps us
to optimize internal workflows and to avoid unnecessary costs. Of
course, this advantage is reflected in our prices.
The conservative long-term
strategy of the owner-managed company does not preclude an innovative
pioneering role with a significant presence in the field of new
technologies, a range of future-oriented products as well as a
leading role in environmental matters.
This is why Praxisdienst
is one of today's leading medical technology companies in online
trading. Our online shop offers peerless shop functions, such as the
“Order Manager“ or the “Emergency Kit Configurator“,
responding to the
individual needs of our customers. However, our leading position
on the market is not only due to our Praxisdienst online shop, but our innovative product portfolio including single-use instruments or
PC-based medical devices that speak for our success.
Although many things have
changed since the foundation of Praxisdienst 60 years ago, we have
remained true to our goal to respectfully serve our customers with expertise and a personal touch.
Our concept
Our way of woking is
constantly directed towards the philosophy “best prices for our
customers due to high efficiency”. From the procurement of
goods, warehousing, shipment of goods up to returns management, every
single procedure is monitored on an ongoing basis in order to reveal
further cost minimizing potential.
Praxisdienst products are less expensive than those of its competitors, though we do not save on
quality of our medical products. Our favourable prices are based on a
tight cost management and modern workflows. We do not invest in
expensive administration buildings and vehicle fleets, but in latest
computer systems, modern logistic facilities and energy-saving
technology. This allows us to guarantee our customers a permanent
price advantage.
Our team at Praxisdienst
We supply within Europe and beyond. In order to provide our customers with competent and reliable advice, our team consists of German, French, Dutch and English speaking employees and they are delighted to answer your questions regarding our products at all times. All in all, our multilingual staff covers more than 10 languages. Our customer service employees are qualified medical product advisors, which helps us to guarantee a high level of service quality. Furthermore, we are fortunate to have a doctor, a biomedical technican and an expert accountant on our team.
