Acticoat is a unique antibacterial wound dressing that covers a broad spectrum and kills bacteria in less than 30 minutes. Due to its constant antimicrobial action of 3 days, this antibacterial bandage promotes quicker healing.

The Acticoat antibacterial bandage is composed of 3 layers: The outer layers comprise of the silver-coated and non-adhesive nets, and in the middle there is a moisture-absorbent core layer made from polyethylene. This inner layer stores the moisture exuding from the wound, while the outer layers, with nanocrystalline silver, protect the wound from bacterial infection.
