Sample Carriers for Medical Laboratories

Culture media enable rapid and reliable growth of bacteria and fungi for subsequent microscopic examination. Ready-to-use media, such as dip media, can be inoculated with sample material and incubated, or laboratories can prepare media individually using a carrier (e.g., Petri dish) and a nutrient medium.
