Medicine Bottles, Ointment Tins & Containers for the Laboratory Environment

Lab vessels are used, among other things, for mixing, preparing or storing various liquids, creams or lotions. The vessels include medicine bottles, ointment jars and mixing bowls, but also laboratory containers such as beakers and syringe bottles, as well as other accessories for the laboratory area in surgeries or clinics.

Medicine and Laboratory Bottles for Filling Medical Liquids

Medicine bottles or pharmacist bottles are used in laboratories of inpatient or outpatient medical facilities. Medicine or pharmacy bottles can be closed either with a glass stopper or a screw caps and are used, for example, for filling tinctures or homeopathic liquids. The amber glass containers are available in a variety of sizes. The field of application of a medicine bottle made of laboratory glass with medium hydrolytic resistance of class III in human medicine covers solutions that are not administered parenterally.

 

Lab bottles are designed for the preparation and storage of various chemical solutions. They are made of a special glass (borosilicate) that is very resistant to temperature and chemicals. In addition, they feature a scale to quickly identify the amount of liquid contained. The laboratory glass bottles are available in amber and white glass, in different shapes and in various sizes.

Ointment Jars, Sample Jars and Other Plastic and Silicone Containers

Ointment jars are made of opaque white PP plastic and can be closed with red plastic caps. They are mainly used for creams and lotions adapted to the needs of the patient.

 

Specimen jars are made of semi-transparent plastic. Therefore, they are ideal for storing specimen material, such as sputum, or for pills and medication samples. At Praxisdienst you can buy the respective specimen jars in various sizes.

These include beakers and Erlenmeyer flasks, which are usually made of stable borosilicate glass - a particularly chemical- and temperature-resistant material. In addition, the beakers and flasks are provided with a scale for easy reading of the liquid volume.
