Wound Cleaning with Professional Gel & Irrigation Solution
Wound cleansing plays a crucial role in wound care and promotes improved healing. Typically, a wound cleansing product, such as a wound irrigation solution or wound gel, is used for cleaning. Moisturising the wound also supports optimal healing, as it creates a favourable wound environment that provides ideal conditions for recovery. While light wound debris can be effectively removed with a wound irrigation solution, more stubborn deposits are best treated with a wound gel, which keeps the wound moist for an extended period and helps loosen debris. Depending on the type of wound, disinfection with a suitable disinfectant may also be required.
Extensive Range of Wound Cleansing Products
At Praxisdienst, you will find a wide selection of wound cleansing products, including wound irrigation solutions and wound gels for cleaning, rinsing, and moisturising wounds. HydroClean Solution, for example, is a popular wound antiseptic that is completely painless to apply and therefore highly tolerated by patients. The antiseptic protects against multidrug-resistant (e.g. MRSA, VRE) and mycotic (e.g. C. albicans) pathogens and is suitable for long-term use.
Prontosan from B. Braun is available both as a wound irrigation solution and as a wound gel and can be used to cleanse wounds and create an optimal wound environment. The well-tolerated Prontosan Gel is suitable for repeated and long-term use and is compatible with most modern wound care products.
In addition to the appropriate wound cleansing products, you can also purchase further accessories for professional wound care in our online shop at affordable prices, such as gauze swabs.
Products for wound closure, as well as plasters and plaster casts, can be found in the overview under the category Dressing Materials .
