Laryngoscopes for Airway Management and Intubation

Laryngoscopes are important instruments for airway management and endotracheal intubation. During intubation, the laryngoscope is used to visualise the larynx and guide the tracheal tube through the glottis and into the trachea. Our range includes laryngoscope handles, blades, complete laryngoscope sets, disposable laryngoscopes and video laryngoscopes for use in a variety of clinical and emergency care settings.

Laryngoscope Handles

In general, a distinction can be made between battery-operated and rechargeable laryngoscope handles.

The battery-operated 2.5 V LuxaScope Laryngoscope Handle is available with either xenon or LED illumination. It is manufactured according to ISO 7376 and is comparable to the Heine F.O. SP laryngoscope battery handle.

The rechargeable 3.7 V version of the Luxamed Laryngoscope Handle features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and LED illumination. It is comparable to the Heine Standard F.O. 4 LED NT laryngoscope handle.

Laryngoscope Blades

Choosing the right laryngoscope blade makes it easier to insert the tracheal tube and helps prevent injuries. In general, a distinction is made between Miller and Macintosh blades. The Macintosh blade has a curved design, while the Miller blade is straight.

Straight Miller blades are mainly used for newborns, babies and children, as the epiglottis is still more flexible at this age. The straight design of the Miller blade allows the entrance to the larynx to be visualised more easily. In adults, curved Macintosh blades are often more suitable for intubation.

Laryngoscope Sets

Our range also includes high-quality laryngoscope sets for airway management and intubation. The LED Laryngoscope Set includes a handle and three different sizes of reusable Macintosh blades.

We also offer disposable laryngoscope sets such as the RESQ-Blade ECO-LED set, which includes a disposable LED cold light handle as well as five cold light blades according to Miller and Macintosh. After use, these are simply disposed of, helping to prevent cross-contamination.

Disposable Laryngoscopes

Disposable laryngoscopes are practical single-use products that offer high standards of hygiene and are simply discarded after use, eliminating the need for reprocessing. Choose from various colour-coded sizes for children and adults.

Video Laryngoscopes

The Dalhausen Video Laryngoscope is used with hygienic disposable blades and simplifies intubation in patients with difficult airway conditions. Video laryngoscopy also provides a clear view of the airway during intubation, making it suitable for training in endotracheal intubation techniques, as students and instructors can see the same image.

Intubation Tubes and Airway Tubes

In addition to suitable endotracheal tubes, Guedel tubes and Wendl tubes, our shop also offers laryngeal tubes. The Söhngen W. laryngeal tube is available in three sizes and features distal and proximal cuffs.
