The patient monitor (vital signs monitor) serves the healthcare field in observation of vital functions and parameters of patients during operations, in the intensive care unit, and in ambulatory medicine. With help of a patient monitor, up to 8 values can be simultaneously determined and viewed on the colour display.

Depending on the requirement of clinical or ambulatory patient monitoring, these medical devices provide simultaneous monitoring of ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory rate, body temperature, heart rate and capnometry (EtCo2) is possible. In order to collect this vital data, each model is equipped with various sensors and measuring devices, such as a blood pressure cuff, the ECG cable or an SpO2 finger sensor.

Portable Monitors with Printer

Some monitors, such as the uMEC10 from Mindray, are ideal for mobile use, due to their high-performance battery, their light weight and their compact dimensions.

This compact patient monitor is equipped with an integrated thermal printer and a large internal memory, which makes it ideal for use in an ambulance. It can be connected to the computer via USB in order to transfer and evaluate data. Its large display is intuitively operated via touchscreen and the device is available with a 3-lead or 5-lead ECG cable and with or without WLAN function.

For this, you may choose between a GE, a Nellcor and a Masimo SpO2 sensor. The Carescape monitor is suitable for monitoring adults, children and newborns and can be used with the appropriate mobile stand, if needed.
