Anatomical impressions are also called situational impressions, as they accurately reproduce the natural condition in the mouth. Impression trays are available, for example, in disposable plastic or reusable stainless steel for both edentulous and dentate jaws. In challenging jaw situations, standard trays may not suffice, and a custom tray must be made. Impression trays also ensure an even thickness of impression material, which guarantees high precision of the impressions. Perforated Disposable Plastic Impression Trays

In this category, we offer plastic impression trays in various designs and sizes. The standard trays can be used for the upper jaw, lower jaw, anterior teeth, or for the targeted impression of a jaw half – both edentulous and fully dentate. Alginates are most commonly used for impressions, as they are easy to handle.

All trays are perforated to securely hold the impression material. Additionally, the perforated, blue disposable trays feature rounded edges that reliably prevent scrapes or abrasions in the mouth. Of course, these perforated trays can be used with all common dental impression materials, such as alginate or silicone.

With disposable trays, there is no need for cleaning and preparation. After use, they can be conveniently discarded, saving dental staff valuable time and effort.
