Infusion/Transfusion
An infusion is the continuous administration of fluids, usually intravenously via a vein. When blood components are administered, it is referred to as a transfusion. Infusions are performed, for example, to restore fluid volume or to administer medication parenterally. They are typically attached to the hooks of infusion stands. Parenteral nutrition can also be carried out using infusions.
Depending on the site of administration, there are different types of infusions, such as intravenous, subcutaneous, or intraosseous infusions.
Infusion and Transfusion Equipment at Praxisdienst – Affordable and Reliable
In our subcategories, you will find everything you need to carry out infusions and transfusions – in compliance with TRBA 250 – at competitive prices.
Infusion Stands
In the subcategory Infusion Stands, you will find various models for classic gravity infusions, made of stainless steel or aluminium. Alongside mobile infusion stands with castors, wall-mounted options are also available in different colours, such as blue or green. Whether height-adjustable or foldable, here you will find durable stainless steel or chrome models with multiple hooks for administering several gravity infusions at once.
As an alternative to gravity infusion, pressure infusions can be administered using our pressure infusion cuffs. These generate a defined pressure during the infusion, allowing for faster fluid delivery.
Venous Tourniquets
In the section Tourniquets, you can choose from a range of venous tourniquets in different colours, such as blue or orange. Both reusable and single-use models are available. For instance, the daisygrip Venous Tourniquet stands out for its easy disinfectability and one-handed operation, while the Prämeta Venous Tourniquet is available in green, with a matching Prämeta Replacement Band. Tourniquets are not only used for blood collection but also for stasis before venepuncture during infusions.
Infusion Devices & Accessories
In our subcategory Infusion Devices & Accessories, you will find high-quality infusion systems such as the Intrafix Air P Infusion Device and the Intrafix SafeSet Infusion Device. Accessories available include Heidelberg Extensions, Infusion Sets, three-way stopcocks, filter straws, and infusion filters. Don’t forget the matching venous tourniquet and infusion stand – with or without castors, made from stainless steel or chrome, and available with different hook configurations.

For your safety, we also offer sharps containers with secure lids in various sizes, ensuring that used needles and syringes are disposed of correctly. Thanks to their high level of safety, sharps containers are an essential part of daily work in medical facilities, whether for syringe or needle disposal after injections.
