Saliva ejectors - as the name suggests - are primarily required to aspirate saliva.
Beyond that, however, they are excellent at aspirating water and fluids during plaque removal or professional tooth cleaning. Their flexible, individually bendable shape makes them very well suited to hard-to-reach areas. The internal wire allows them to be individually moulded and the removable cap allows them to aspirate large pieces of calculus and cement residues. In addition to these saliva ejectors, coiled cannulae are particularly popular. Due to their coiled, snail-like shape, these cannulae can be hooked under the vestibular sulcus or base of the tongue with ease, where they aspirate excess and disruptive fluids and saliva. The shape of these saliva ejectors can also be individually changed as the material is extremely flexible.
Saliva ejectors and coiled cannulae are available at low prices from Praxisdienst.
