Harvard Cement
Harvard Cement is the classic zinc phosphate cement, proven since 1892. The cement is suitable for the permanent cementation of restorations as well as for underfilling. This cement is characterised by its high compressive strength, low film thickness and ease of use. Harvard Cement is used by dentists as a filling material for temporary fillings in milk teeth or as an alternative to plastic and composite.
After the tooth has been completely freed from caries, the cement is mixed to the desired consistency and placed in the tooth. The material is suitable as an underfilling under amalgam and plastic fillings. Due to the fast curing within a short time, the wide range of applications and the attractive price, Harvard cement has been used in many dental practices for years.
