Arteriosclerosis and Thrombosis Model

This 3-dimensional arteriosclerosis and thrombosis model allows doctors to explain to patients, in an easy to understand way, about changes in blood vessels due to arteriosclerosis. The arterial fork model is 10 times magnified and shows a longitudinal section of the inside of the artery, with arteriosclerotic plaque in the arterial walls, as well as local intravascular clotting (thrombosis). The arteriosclerosis model is complemented by four artery cross sections which are mounted to the base of the model, and show the different stages of arterial luminal narrowing.
