In addition to showing the anatomy of the vertebral column and pelvis, a herniated disc and a spinal injury can be seen on the lumbar vertebrae. The femoral heads are mounted in place but are movable, so that surgical procedures of the pelvic girdle and the hip joint can be explained and demonstrated.
