Ultrasound gel is a non-scented, colourless, viscous gel that is used for ultrasonic scans and therapies. The diagnostic contact gel is highly conductive to sound waves and creates a non-interrupted connection between skin and ultrasound transducer. Since the ultrasound gel comes into direct contact with the patient's skin, it contains particularly skin-friendly and non-irritating ingredients.

Ultrasound Transmission Gel  for Every Kind of Procedure

The leading manufacturers of ultrasound machines recommend the use of Aquasonic 100. This non-sterile gel is water-soluble, bacteriostatic, hypoallergenic and free of formaldehyde, guaranteeing a very high skin tolerance. It doesn't stain the patient's clothing or damage transducers and can be bought as a 250 ml bottle or a 5 litre canister.
