Dressing Sheets
First Aid Dressing Sheets
Dressing sheets are pads made of a soft, supple material, such as non-woven, which are used for the sterile covering of wounds over large areas. First aid dressing sheets, like first aid bandages, are first aid dressing materials found in standard first aid kits. The requirements of a dressing sheet are outlined in DIN 13152-A and DIN 13152-BR. As the dressing sheet is intended to ensure pressure-free wound coverage, the wound dressings are particularly light and soft. Dressing sheets are often used to cover open fractures, bleeding wounds, extensive abrasions and burns.
Aluminium Vapourised Dressing Sheets for Sensitive Wounds
To prevent the dressing sheet from sticking to the wound, aluminium-steamed sheets are frequently used. The wound side of these pads is covered with aluminium, which ensures an atraumatic dressing change.
Dressing sheets for wound care are available in various sizes according to need and are individually sterile sealed to prevent infection. Depending on the size of the wound and its location, the user can choose from dressing sheets in sizes 40 x 60 cm, 60 x 80 cm and 80 x 120 cm.
