Injection Plasters for the Treatment of Puncture Wounds

Injection plasters are small plasters that are used to treat puncture wounds typically caused by blood sampling, injections or infusions. Injection plasters are often pre-cut and supplied in a dispenser box so that they can be quickly grasped with one hand and applied to the puncture wound when needed.

Hypoallergenic Injection Plasters for Sensitive Skin

For patients with sensitive skin, it is advisable to use wound plasters that do not cause skin irritation and are as hypoallergenic as possible. In our online shop, we offer sensitive wound plasters such as the Curaplast sensitive. The material of this round injection plaster from Lohmann & Rauscher is soft and supple. In addition, these Curaplast strips use a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive that is excellent for use on sensitive skin.

In case you are looking for a hypoallergenic plaster with pre-cut strips in a dispenser box, we offer for instance the DermaPlast from Paul Hartmann. These injection plasters have a highly absorbent wound pad and are permeable to air and water vapour, which largely prevents sweating of the wound or puncture site and supports healing. The DermaPlast SOFT injection plasters are available in a practical dispenser box of 250 pieces.

For patient allergic to latex, we also stock latex-free plasters, such as the Hansaplast Soft medical plasters for injections.

Waterproof Injection Plasters for Puncture Wounds

To protect the puncture site from moisture, we offer special waterproof injection plasters in our online shop. The ready-to-use and cut-to-size MaiMed Inject injection plasters made of waterproof PE film are particularly practical and are well suited for sensitive skin due to the skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive.

In case you are looking for a water- and dirt-repellent plaster, we offer the skin-coloured Hansaplast hypoallergenic injection plasters. This sensitive plaster is all-round adhesive and skin-coloured, which optimally protects the wound area from dirt penetration and makes it hardly noticeable on the patient's skin.
