The Stet Cube is an innovative device for quickly and safely disinfecting stethoscopes. The use of UV-C rays (ultraviolet rays) eliminates pathogenic microorganisms within a few minutes without the use of disinfectants or other chemicals. To disinfect, the stethoscope chestpiece is simply placed in the device and the lid is closed. The disinfection process then starts automatically. The stethoscope chestpiece remains in the device for 3 minutes for a standard disinfection and 5 minutes for a deeper disinfection.

Stethoscope Disinfection with the Stet Cube
The stethoscope is one of the most used medical instruments yet is often insufficiently disinfected. The Stet Cube stethoscope disinfecting device solves this problem, offering a simple method of reliably disinfecting the stethoscope chestpiece. For this purpose, the Stet Cube uses UV-C rays that impact all sides of the stethoscope chestpiece. Using ultraviolet rays, pathogenic microorganisms are safely eliminated within a few minutes, even on areas that are otherwise hard to reach with a disinfecting wipe.
The advantage to disinfecting with the Stet Cube lies in the fact that the success of the disinfection is not dependent on the user and his technique. Disinfection with this device is intuitive and simple and does not require any special instructions or training. For a standard disinfection, the Stet Cube only needs 3 minutes; only 5 minutes for a deeper disinfection.
There are anti-slip feet on the base of the Stet Cube so that it can be safely placed on smooth surfaces. Furthermore, delivery includes a wall bracket with which the Stet Cube can be easily mounted on the wall.

The Stet Cube deactivates the DNA of most pathogenic microorganisms within only a few minutes. Please note that the stethoscope chestpiece is to be placed beneath the transparent clamp. Multiple sensors assure that the disinfection process does not start until the lid is closed with a stethoscope is inside.
How it Works:
- Remove the obvious contaminations from the stethoscope
- Open the lid and place the chestpiece inside
- Close the lid, blue LEDs light up within a few seconds to indicate the disinfection process has begun
- Wait a few minutes until the blue light stops blinking and remains a solid colour
- Open the lid and remove the stethoscope from the device
