Ultrasound Beam Angle
The Doppler frequency depends on the beam angle. If the angle is as steep as possible, the number of erythrocytes detected by the sound wave is increased. This leads to an increased intensity of the Doppler signal and a low diffusion. As a result, the greatest Doppler effect occurs at 90° while there is no Doppler effect at 0°.
