Hydrofilm Plus from Hartmann is a transparent, adhesive dressing with an absorbent wound cover in the middle that does not stick to the wound. This sterile wound plaster is germ and water impermeable and allows for constant observation of the surrounding wound area. Therefore, wound infections can be quickly recognised and treated. Since the transparent plaster also makes it easy to see the secretions absorbed by the middle cushion, dressing changes can be made on an individual basis.
