Air Purification & Disinfection
Reduce Airborne Infectious Transmissions
The air is an important transmission channel for all sorts of infectious diseases. By talking, coughing and sneezing, droplets with infectious germs are released into the ambient air and can infect other people by coming into contact with their mucous membranes. Especially in winter, when the risk of respiratory diseases is particularly high, air purification systems can present a helpful way to prevent infectious transmissions by cleaning the air.
Such a system is equipped with special filters (e.g. HEPA filters or carbon filters), which are able to filter bacteria, gases, chemicals and suspended particles like dust or mite faeces.
To remove viruses, fungi and moulds from the air, the air purification unit VK Blue is equipped with a special reactor module, containing UV-C lamps and special titanium oxide filter candles. Thanks to the combination between different filters and UV light, the germ count of the ambient air is reduced significantly.
Air that's free of particles, polluants, unpleasant odours and germs poses far fewer health risks and is better for people suffering from allergies.
Air purifiers can be used in every healthcare sector and are particularly suitable for waiting areas, treatment rooms where people with respiratory diseases are treated, and at the front desk. Of course, air purifiers can also be used in open-plan offices, kindergartens, schools and other public facilities.
Automatically Disinfect Large Rooms
Since surfaces are a classic transmission path for germs - be it through droplets or by touching the surface - thorough surface disinfection is of decisive importance.
However thorough surface disinfection is often extremely difficult due to the many different surfaces (cables, outlet strips, drawers, cabinets, tables, chairs, etc), especially if the rooms also contain electronic devices like ultrasound machines and ECG monitors.
One solution might be the use of a dry-mist disinfectant diffuser. Devices like the Nocospray 2 are used with special disinfectants that are turned into dry mist. This mist is then released into the air and falls onto every surface in the room.
Whether curtains, cables, skirting boards or tables - everything is disinfected evenly. The biodegradable disinfectants don't leave any residue and there is no need for follow-up treatment. After treatment (which includes the diffusing and activation time), the room can be used without restrictions.
Thanks to the wide activity spectrum (including virucidal and sporicidal effects) and the unlimited material compatibility, such diffusers can be employed in every healthcare sector.
The Nocospray2 for example, is ideal for large rooms of up to 1000 m³ and works automatically. As a result, the medical staff can take care of other things instead of needing to operate the device.
