Venen Engel® Premium - A Great Alternative to Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Whether for the removal of excess tissue water, to relief veins or to improve cellulite - the professional Venen Engel® Premium gliding wave massager enables you and your patients to enjoy an efficient, soothing and uninterrupted massage on the legs, abdomen and bottom and ensures a lighter feeling in the legs after only a short treatment period.
It is available with either 6 or 8 overlapping air chambers, which can be deactivated individually for pain-sensitive areas. Through the overlapping of these air chambers, an even distribution of pressure is ensured and pressure drops between the different air cushions are eliminated.
The quiet control unit, with a sound volume comparable to that of a refrigerator, can be operated very easily by touch panel or remote control. This makes it easy to choose between 6 different massage programmes and to set the pressure and treatment duration.

Benefits of the Treatment with the Venen Engel®
Unlike comparable devices from other manufacturers, the Venen Engel® offers a gliding massage through all air chambers. In the process, the overlapping air chambers are inflated one after the other from the foot towards the centre of the body. The resulting gliding and soothing pressure wave massage ensures, among other things, an efficient removal of excess fluid from the tissue for noticeably lighter legs.

Important Note:
Please ensure that you use the appropriate arm cuff with the correct number of chambers for your device. While the Venen Engel® Premium control unit 6 can only be used with arm cuffs with 6 air chambers, the Venen Engel® Premium control unit 8 can only be combined with cuffs with 8 air chambers.
Decongestion Programme (30-50 Minutes)
Goal
Removal of excess tissue water, venous relief and a lighter feeling in the legs.
Preparing the Patient:
Establish a gradient of the legs to favour the drainage of excess tissue fluid by placing the feet higher than the knees and the knees higher than the hips. Gravity will cause the fluid to flow towards the centre of the body.

Setting the Pressure:
Max. 120 mmHg - pressure must always feel comfortable. If the pressure is too high, lymph capillaries are compressed and the return flow is impeded.
Pressure remains constant throughout the treatment and is not increased.
Warm Up - Programme A:
The warm up prepares the tissue for the treatment by activating the lymph nodes. Duration Programme A: 5-10 Minutens.
Main Part - Programme B:
The sliding wave massage removes the water in a wave towards the centre of the body and prevents reflux into the feet by maintaining pressure. Duration Programme B: 20 Minutes.
Finish - Programme C to F:
To achieve maximum treatment success, it is important to apply as many stimuli as possible to the tissue. This is achieved by alternating between programmes C, D, E and F. Duration of programme C to F: 20 minutes.
Improvement of Cellulite / Reduction of Leg Circumference. (30-50 Minutes)
Goal
Removal of metabolic waste, improvement of tissue metabolism and improvement of cellulite.
