The moor pack, made from natural moor, or turf, is used in combination with a reusable heat medium for heat therapy in physiotherapy and massage practices.
As opposed to earlier used fango packs or moor baths, single-use moor packs are disposed of after use, which removes all costs associated with reprocessing moor pads.
The disposable pack also eliminates the time-intensive cleaning of the moor-treated body part. Contact with the patient is made through permeable fleece so that the turf components can reach the skin.
Heating of the moor pack is done through reusable heat mediums, which are heated in a water bath at the desired temperature and then simultaneously placed with the moor on the body part to be treated.
