Disposable Syringes for Medical Practices and Hospitals
At Praxisdienst we offer a wide range of standard syringes, fine-dose syringes, insulin syringes, tuberculin syringes, wound and bladder syringes as well as oral disposable syringes from various manufacturers, such as B Braun, Teqler or Becton Dickinson. For an optimal overview, we present the individual syringe types from our online shop.
Standard Disposable Syringes
Standard syringes are sterile disposable syringes (without needle / cannula) made of plastic in 2-part, such as the Braun Injekt with Luer connection, or 3-part design, such as the Omnifix Solo disposable syringes with Luer lock attachment. 2-piece syringes consist of a transparent cylinder and a plunger, whereas 3-piece syringes also have a sealing ring and facilitate the injection of small quantities of liquid medicine.
In our online shop you will find, for example, the 2-piece sterile disposable syringe BD Discardit II for the injection of medicine in various sizes. This disposable syringe with Luer connector has a smooth-running plunger and is equally suitable for wound irrigation and for injecting medicine. As a 3-piece disposable syringe, we offer the BD Plastipak with double sealing ring and the possibility for an even injection of medicines and liquids. The disposable syringes, for example, are packed in units of 100 (1 and 10 ml) and are available in various sizes.
If you are looking for a disposable syringe with attached needle and safety mechanism, the BD Integra safety syringe is a good choice. After the injection, the needle retracts into the plunger at the push of a button. With a volume of 3 ml and graduation of 0.1 ml, the syringe is packed in 100 pieces and available with cannulas in various sizes.
These disposable syringes with a particularly large volume, e.g. 50 ml or 100 ml, are particularly suitable for all kinds of irrigation. For example, if the wound needs to be flushed after a fistula operation, the irrigation syringes are used. Irrigation syringes are also used in urology when, for example, the catheter needs to be flushed or the urinary bladder needs to be irrigated. Unlike normal disposable syringes, which have a Luer connection or Luer lock attachment, irrigation syringes have a catheter attachment. With the help of an adapter, the catheter attachment can be converted to a Luer cone.
Disposable Oral Syringes
These disposable oral syringes (without needle) are used exclusively for oral administration of medicines or liquids. The distinction from conventional disposable syringes is made by colour coding: oral disposable syringes have a plunger that stands out strongly in colour from other syringes, such as the BD enteral syringe with a centric tip. A highly transparent barrel with high-contrast graduation enables accurate dosing when drawing up and allows the syringe contents to be clearly seen.
