The Teqler Gillies disposable thumb forceps are a special form of surgical thumb forceps. They are made with teeth (1:2) and ribbed jaws. This makes the Gillies surgical thumb forceps ideal for grasping sensitive tissues safely. The disposable thumb forceps have widely ribbed handles, allowing for non-slip handling.
The use of disposable instruments, such as those in the Teqler series, offers the user a range of benefits: They are individually sealed and thus can be removed from the practical carton as needed. The instruments do not need to be prepared for reuse, thus saving the entire costs of instrument preparation. They are simply disposed of after use in a disposal container. Teqler disposable instruments also offer a further benefit: They come with removable labels that can be used for quick documentation in patient records.
