The Classic

In addition to the handy glucose monitors from Accu-Chek, the affordable Beurer GL44 glucometer is particularly suitable for glucose monitoring and diabetes care in older patients. It is equipped with an extra large illuminated display, a lit slot for blood glucose test strips and is very easy to operate.

Blood sugar levels are tested in mg/dl or mmol/l with help of code-free test strips that can also be found in this category. Additionally, the glucose meter from Beurer is equipped with an underfilling detection and starts measuring automatically as soon as the needed blood volume of 0.6 μl is reached.

You can order the meter in black, white or purple as a set including a lancing device, lancet and test strips.

The All-Rounder

New: with Test Cassette

With the Accu-Chek Mobile from Roche, testing is done without strips. Instead, the meter makes use of a test cassette that is suitable for 50 blood sugar measurements. This test procedure proves particularly hygienic, as the cassette can be discarded without needing to remove individual, contaminated blood sugar test strips. Additionally, the glucose monitor is equipped with an integrated lancing device that does not need to be removed during the test procedure.

The lancing device contains a drum to collect and discard the used lancets. The low sample volume needed for testing is particularly advantageous - the glucometer only needs a blood sample of 0.3 μl to offer reliable results.

With USB Port

If you want to transfer your measurement results to the computer, we recommend the Beurer GL 50 elo. With help of the integrated USB port the results can be displayed on your PC. Of course, the handy device with integrated, blue backlit LCD display is equipped with an individually adjustable lancing device.

Milligram per Decilitre or Millimol per Litre?

Glucose levels can be measured in different ways: either by considering the mass concentration (in mg/dl) or the substance concentration (mmol/l). Most devices are set to either one or the other to prevent the device from accidentally switching units.
