The CE-marked RightSign COVID-19 antigen self-test is suitable for the qualitative detection of a COVID-19 infection. Due to the sample collection in the anterior nasal region, the test is particularly gentle and pleasant and can be easily carried out by laypersons. To avoid mistakes during the test, children under 13 years of age as well as senior citizens or people with disabilities should only perform the test under supervision.
The conclusive test result of the immunochromatographic rapid test is available after only 10 minutes and can be easily read off the test cassette. Frequently occurring infectious diseases such as RSV, influenza A and B or the adenovirus do not show any cross-reactions with the rapid test. All materials needed to perform the test are included in the delivery - the only additional materials required are a clock or timer.
