Dissecting Forceps

The dissecting forceps are used for atraumatic holding and grasping of sensitive structures. The holding jaws of the anatomical forceps have a cross-groove or grooved inside and enable safe instrumentation.

Special anatomical forceps, for instance Adson forceps or DeBakey forceps, enable a tissue-sparing method of working and blood vessels and nerves can be precisely held off.

Surgical Forceps

The surgical forceps have interlocking teeth for a particularly secure, non-slip grip. The interlocking teeth of the holding jaws ensure precise closing. Depending on the type and intended use, surgical forceps with a different number of teeth are available.

The standard surgical thumb forceps from Paul Hartmann, disposable hygienic forceps from the Peha® instrument series, have 1:2 teeth and are made of brushed stainless steel. The standard straight forceps are clearly labelled as disposable instruments and have a sterile shelf life of 5 years.

Cilia Forceps

With the extra wide holding jaws, the Teqler ciliary forceps are ideally suited to securely grasp the finest structures. The forceps made from stainless steel are suitable for cosmetic removal of facial hair (for instance eyebrows) or as a medical instrument, for example in dermatology.

Ear Forceps

The Troeltsch ear forceps allow a free field of vision due to the angulation. This instrument is mainly used to remove foreign bodies from the external auditory canal.

DeBakey Forceps

The DeBakey forceps are particularly narrow, tissue-friendly, anatomical forceps. It has micro serration for safe instrumentation of the smallest, most sensitive tissue structures.

Adson Forceps

The Adson forceps is a fine-tipped instrument specially designed for surgery. Due to the tapered holding jaws, the atraumatic, pointed forceps enable secure grasping and holding of the smallest, most sensitive tissue structures. Named after the neurosurgeon Alfred W. Adson, these forceps are available as anatomical and surgical forceps.

Splinter Forceps

Splinter forceps have a wide grip area and ensure safe, precise work. The narrow and tapered holding jaws enable the removal of the smallest foreign bodies. Different forms of splinter tweezers can be distinguished from each other.
