Pregnancy Detector for Sheep, Goats and Alpacas
The pregnancy detector for sheep and goats enables extremely simple pregnancy diagnosis and monitoring - even with alpacas! A large quantity of liquid is reflected using ultrasound and transformed into an acoustic signal: when the waves hit the amniotic fluid, the device signals pregnancy with a constant tone.
This allows pregnant sheep, goats and alpacas to be identified with a certainty of over 90%, from the 60th day following the last insemination. The handy, portable device is battery operated and combines low costs with simple handling. The included carrying case provides ideal protection for the device when not in use or when being transported.
