Oesophageal Cardiac Tone Amplifier
This oesophageal cardiac sound amplifier is ideal for the acoustic reproduction of the heart and respiratory sounds of an animal under anaesthesia. The attached disposable probe is introduced with the oesophagus and maintained at the level of the cardiac base, where the cardiac sounds are recorded and played back loudly in the operating room via the amplifier. Listening with headphones is also possible.
The oesophageal cardiac sound amplifier allows the veterinarian to monitor anaesthesia easily and affordably, without contaminating the sterile field with a stethoscope. The battery-operated device offers a flexible range of uses within the practice and for mobile use.
