X-Ray Accessories
A useful aid in X-ray technology is the X-Ray Film Marking Clip which allows you to quicky identify which side was X-rayed, even at a later date. This serves not only to speed up assessment and processing, but also to ensure correct documentation. The practical marker can simply be clipped over the cassette frame and exposes “L” or “R” during patient exposure.

In order to be able to take high-quality X-rays, correct positioning of the animal is essential. For this purpose, we offer you different positioning aids such as the X-Ray Positioning Aid or the Vacuumat vacuum mattress for animals.
The X-Ray Positioning Aid is particularly suitable for HD X-rays as it prevents the pelvis from rotating. It can be individually adjusted in width to the size of the patient thanks to the winged screws and stabilises the animal at the level of the rib cage.
The Vacuumat positioning mattress contains microbeads and adapts individually to the anatomy of the animal's body. This guarantees an optimal resting position for the patient. Thanks to the polyurethane plastic, the Vacuumat mattress for animals can be easily cleaned after each patient, ensuring hygienic use.
The veterinary mattress is available in two sizes and comes with a compatible pump.
Various medical templates support the diagnosis of certain diseases, for example by measuring the size of the joint angle. The HD X-Ray Measurement Template, for example, is suitable for determining the Norberg angle. The size of this angle provides information about whether hip dysplasia is present. The angle should be greater than 105°, otherwise hip dysplasia is present.
