Disinfection Mat

The disinfection mat is used in veterinary medicine to prevent the transfer of germs via shoes. The robust mat is soaked with a disinfectant solution and placed at the entrances and exits of farms, veterinary practices or other sensitive areas.

When stepping on the mat, the shoes or boots of the veterinary staff are automatically disinfected. The underside and sides of the disinfection mat are impermeable to liquids so that the solution cannot dissipate. Regular and complete soaking of the mat is important for reliable disinfection.
