Instrument care

To ensure the long-lasting high quality of the surgical instruments in your veterinary practice, they need to be cared for accordingly. Following their use in treatments or operations, they are pre-cleaned, cleaned, disinfected and then sterilised. Special instrument care products are used to lubricate instruments and to protect them against harmful environmental stimuli. Oil or spray products are commonly used in instrument care, such as Ballistol oil, which has been popular for decades. Ballistol is well-suited to instrument care as it reduces friction, disinfects and acts against rust. This all-rounder is also used in animal and leather care.

The silicone spray by Asid Bonz is another instrument care product. It is temperature-resistant up to 250° C and can readily adhere to an instrument during sterilisation. The silicone spray acts as a lubricant and to protect delicate surgical steel instruments.

You will find a range of other useful products in the instrument care category, which you can order online at low prices! Praxisdienst-VET, your specialised trader for veterinary equipment, provides all the supplies you need to care for your instruments and equipment!
