KerbaTEST Milk Test

The KerbaTEST milk test is used to perform a California mastitis test. This is the most widely used test for indirect, semi-quantitative cell count determination in raw cow's milk. In this test the test liquid is mixed with the milk in a ratio of 1:1 using a test paddle. The result can be read after just a few seconds.

If streaks, gel or clots have formed in the milk mix, there is an increased cell content and the test result is positive. Thanks to the KerbaTEST milk test, you can quickly and easily obtain indications of mastitis even before changes in the milk become visible in the form of flakes, blood or wateriness.
