Medi-Test Combi 10 VET

Urine test strips for safe urinalysis in animals: Medi-Test Combi 10 VET
The Medi-Test Combi 10 VET test strips are used in veterinary practices for the quick detection of blood, urobilinogen, bilirubin, protein, nitrite, ketone, glucose, pH level, density and leukocytes in an animal's bladder. They have been specifically developed for use in veterinary medicine and are supplied with a list of reference levels indicating species-specific characteristics in the analysis.
They are simple to use: they are dipped in fresh urine for one second and can be read after the indicated waiting time of just a few seconds. With the Medi-Test Combi 10 VET urine test strips for animals, the veterinarian is able to quickly determine the urinary status of animals.

Frequently Asked Questions
On which animals can the Medi-Test Combi 10 VET urine test strips be used?

In principle, the urine test strips can be used to examine the bladders of all animals. The manufacturer's list of reference levels provides levels for bladder examinations for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.

How should samples be collected to achieve the best results with the test strips?

Ideally, the urine should be collected by cystocentesis, but the use of spontaneous urine is often also sufficient for examinations using the Medi-Test Combi 10 VET urine test strips to obtain satisfactory reference results.

I didn't evaluate the test strip until 3 minutes had passed. Are the results reliable?

Unfortunately not. The Medi-Test Combi 10 VET test strips should be read after 60-120 seconds (depending on the parameter). Colour changes that appear after more than 2 minutes are no longer reliable. The test should be repeated.
