In principle, the urine test strips can be used to examine the bladders of all animals. The manufacturer's list of reference levels provides levels for bladder examinations for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
Ideally, the urine should be collected by cystocentesis, but the use of spontaneous urine is often also sufficient for examinations using the Medi-Test Combi 10 VET urine test strips to obtain satisfactory reference results.
Unfortunately not. The Medi-Test Combi 10 VET test strips should be read after 60-120 seconds (depending on the parameter). Colour changes that appear after more than 2 minutes are no longer reliable. The test should be repeated.
