Patient Monitors for Veterinary Medicine
Patient monitoring in veterinary medicine
During anaesthesia, certain parameters of cardiovascular and respiratory functions provide valuable data to support the clinical assessment of the status of an animal’s health. In addition to careful, professional and experienced clinical observation, multiparameter monitors continuously record the vital parameters and immediately draw attention to acute and unpredictable events. As a result, the medical professional can react immediately, which increases the chance of survival, particularly in seriously ill and old patients.
Relevant functions that require monitoring include respiration, the cardiac function and circulation. Body temperature control plays an important role as well, especially in smaller animals that cool down quickly. In our shop, we offer patient monitors recording data on these parameters as well as many others. Since the models vary greatly in terms of measurable parameters, size, features and accessories, we offer the ideal patient monitor for every need.
