Endotracheal Tube for Small Animals

This sterile endotracheal tube for small animals is used for respirating patients during inhalation anaesthesia in small animal clinics. The tube is available in various sizes with different diameters so that it can be used for intubation of rodents, cats and dogs.

The plastic tracheal tube has an inflatable cuff that prevents aspiration of food residue and other secretions out of the oesophagus during narcosis. The tube tip is flattened and atraumatic to prevent injuries to the trachea during intubation. Furthermore, the small animal endotracheal tube has a valve for Luer and Luer-Lock adapters, as well as a connector for attaching an anaesthesia device.
