The comprehensive cortical screw set includes a large selection of cortical screws and is available as a non-cutting or self-tapping version. In addition to thee different screw racks and a screw rack support to safely secure the racks, the set also includes a sterilisation container.
The cortical screws in this set can be used as traction and fixation screws in veterinary osteosynthesis. They are used to set fractured fragments under compression and to secure plates to reconstructed bones. The cortical screws stand out thanks to their low continuous thread with constant diameter from the head to the tip. They are equipped with a saw-like profile and are mainly used in diaphysis.
