The wire implant and instrument set contains a K-wire bender, orthopaedic wire forceps and a compound action implant cutter, as well as Kirschner wires and orthopaedic wires. All materials are stored in the practical sterilising container with sorting rack.
The soft orthopaedic wire on an economical 10m roll is mainly used for the fixation of bone fragments under a plate, for rotational stability in fragment securement in intramedullary rods as a hemicerclage and for tension band wiring. For the latter, Kirschner wires used as well. In this set, they are equipped with trocar tips on both sides.
