Accessories support the diagnostic process

To produce high-quality X-ray images, proper positioning of the animal is essential. For this purpose, we offer various positioning aids such as the X-ray positioning trough or the positioning mattress.

The positioning trough is particularly suitable for hip dysplasia (HD) imaging, as it prevents rotation of the pelvis. Thanks to its wing screws, the width can be individually adjusted to the size of the patient, providing stabilisation at the level of the thorax.

The positioning mattress is filled with microbeads and adapts individually to the body contours. This ensures optimal and stable positioning of the patient. Made of polyurethane, the Vacuum positioning mattress for animals can be wiped clean after each patient, allowing for hygienic use.

The veterinary positioning mattress is available in two sizes and comes with the appropriate vacuum pump.

Various medical templates support the diagnosis of specific conditions by allowing measurements such as joint angle size. The X-ray HD template, for example, is used to determine the Norberg angle. The size of this angle indicates whether hip dysplasia is present. The angle should be greater than 105°; otherwise, HD is diagnosed.
