Single-Use Tourniquets

Single-Use or Reusable?
Both options have their advantages. Reusable cotton tourniquets can be autoclaved, allowing hygienic and environmentally friendly use multiple times. The single-use option is particularly suitable for high-risk patients or mobile applications.
Arterial Tourniquets vs Regular Tourniquets
The strap of arterial tourniquets is not elastic and designed for stopping life-threatening bleeding in emergencies, e.g. in first aid and emergency services. However, they can also be used as a regular tourniquet if needed.
