Standard Disposable Syringes

Standard disposable syringes are sterile, single-use syringes made of plastic and supplied without a needle/cannula. They are available in 2-part designs, such as the Braun Injekt with Luer connection, or 3-part designs, like the Omnifix Solo with Luer-Lock. The 2-part syringes consist of a transparent barrel and plunger, while 3-part syringes additionally feature a sealing ring, making it easier to inject small volumes of liquid accurately.

This syringe with Luer connection has a smooth plunger and is suitable for both wound irrigation and medication injection. For 3-part syringes, we offer the BD Plastipak, which features a double sealing ring for precise and consistent injection of medications and liquids. These disposable syringes are available in packs of 100 (1 ml and 10 ml) and in a range of sizes.

If you need a disposable syringe with an attached needle and safety mechanism, the BD Integra Safety Syringe is ideal. After injection, the needle retracts into the plunger at the push of a button. With a 3 ml volume and 0.1 ml graduation, this syringe comes in packs of 100 and is available with needles in various sizes.

These disposable syringes with a large volume, such as 50 ml or 100 ml, are particularly suitable for all types of irrigation and flushing. They are often used, for example, to rinse a wound following fistula surgery. Wound and bladder syringes are also used in urology, for instance, to flush catheters or to irrigate the bladder. Unlike standard disposable syringes, which feature a Luer or Luer-Lock connection, wound and bladder syringes come with a catheter tip. Using an adapter, the catheter tip can easily be converted to a Luer connector for versatile use.

Disposable Oral Syringes

These disposable syringes (without needles) are designed exclusively for the oral administration of medications or liquids. They are easily distinguished from standard syringes by their colour-coded plunger, which stands out clearly from other syringes, such as the BD Enteral Syringes. The highly transparent barrel with bold, high-contrast graduation allows precise dosing and makes the syringe contents clearly visible.
