Laboratory Scales for Weighing, Counting, Dosing & Formulation

Laboratory scales (also known as laboratory balances) are usually precision or analytical balances. Precision and analytical scales are great for use in hospitals, pharmacies or labs, thanks to their precise readability and special functions. Due to their high precision and advanced technology, such balances are used in labs to perform specific tasks such as weighing test materials and weighing sampling amounts as well as for formulation, measuring density, purity analysis, quality control testing and material and conformance testing. For an analytical balance to give an accurate reading, it is best if calibration has taken place. Precision balances or fine scales are used to weigh quantities to a very precise number, and usually weigh to an accuracy of ± 0.1 mg.

 

Choosing the Right Lab Scales

The LCD display features a backlight for easy reading, and a printer can be easily connected to this KERN precision balance.

Our Kern laboratory balance with touchscreen display offers exceptional convenience and a wide range of functions. This certified laboratory balance has a weighing range of 1 g to 6 kg or 2 g to 12 kg, and can be operated easily via the intuitive touchscreen menu. It is suitable for a variety of tasks, such as determining daily totals, area weight, or performing checkweighing.
