Lab Stirrers to Blend and Mix Liquids
Lab stirrers are used for the blending, stirring and mixing of liquids or liquid probes. The roller mixer allows for a particularly gentle mixing procedure, while magnetic stirrers and vortex mixers are more powerful.
Roller Mixers, Magnetic Stirrers and Vortex Mixers for Your Lab
For particularly powerful mixing tasks, a vortex mixer is used. Various speed settings can be selected, and samples are shaken at up to approximately 3,000 rpm (rotations per minute). Depending on the attachment, the vortex mixer is suitable for different laboratory samples and vessels, such as Eppendorf tubes, microtiter plates, test tubes, or Erlenmeyer flasks. In our online shop, you can purchase the high-quality vortex mixer from Heinz Herenz, with a rotation speed of up to 3,300 rpm.
In addition to mixers, we also offer corresponding accessories, such as magnetic stir bars. These are small cylindrical magnetic stir bars coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The PTFE coating makes the stir bars resistant to chemicals and temperatures up to approximately 250 °C. The stir bars are available in various lengths, starting from a single piece, and have a long service life.
