Cements for Filling and Luting Applications
In dentistry, cements are used either as restorative filling materials or luting cements for the placement of dental prosthetics. Compared to amalgam or composite fillings, dental cements offer advantages such as a favorable cost-performance ratio, coverage by statutory health insurance, and easy application.
They are also versatile, for example as temporary fillings or provisional cements for securing temporary crowns or bridges. In addition to traditional zinc phosphate cement, there are now many other types of cements, including zinc polycarboxylate cement, glass ionomer cement, and resin-modified glass ionomer cement.
Many more options for dental practices and dental technicians, as well as dental treatment accessories (such as impression trays or disinfectants), are available directly here at Praxisdienst.
