The Cardio Filter focuses on precise heart sound detection. The display shows a heart icon, a 2-second ECG waveform, and current heart rate, with green bars visualising recording progress in real time.

The Pulmonary Filter is tailored for lung auscultation, showing a lung icon and heart rate on the display. Green bars track recording progress for clear monitoring.

The Wideband Mode captures both heart and lung sounds. The display shows combined icons and real-time heart rate, ideal for flexible examinations where multiple sounds need assessment.

EKO Examination Process

Step 1
Examine
Place the stethoscope on the patient’s chest and perform auscultation as usual. Eko’s digital stethoscopes work intuitively and familiarly, while providing noticeably clearer heart and lung sounds.
Step 2
Analyze (AI)
While listening, Eko’s FDA-approved AI analyses heart sounds and ECG data. The heart rhythm is displayed on the device in real time, giving you an immediate, comprehensive view of the patient’s cardiac condition.
Step 3
Detect
Key indicators of heart conditions, such as murmurs, atrial fibrillation, or reduced ejection fraction, are identified and highlighted within about 15 seconds, giving you faster, actionable insights.
Step 4
Document
Each examination can be recorded and securely stored in the cloud, allowing results to be tracked over time or shared with colleagues. Eko can also be integrated with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Eko Telehealth – Remote Auscultation

Eko Telehealth enables stethoscope examinations from a distance with high-quality audio. Heart, lung, and body sounds, along with ECG data, are transmitted in real time, allowing clinicians to make informed decisions even during virtual consultations.

This solution suits a wide range of care settings – from hospitals and clinics to outpatient care, community medicine, or home visits – allowing reliable physical examinations in remote areas or during in-home care.

Powerful software ensures live transmission of auscultation signals in high fidelity. A dedicated audio-video channel minimises latency, while encrypted data transfer meets HIPAA and SOC-2 standards for maximum security. Eko Telehealth can be used via its platform or integrated with existing telehealth systems.

The solution is scalable, customizable, and easy to integrate. Support for setup and operation, plus compatibility with desktop (Windows, macOS) and mobile devices (iOS, Android), allows seamless integration into existing clinical workflows.

EKO Telehealth is available optionally for an additional fee.

SENSORA® Platform – Early Detection of Heart Disease

The Eko SENSORA® platform helps medical professionals identify signs of heart disease during physical examinations. The FDA-approved AI software simultaneously analyses heart sounds (PCG) and ECG signals recorded with a compatible Eko digital stethoscope, providing alerts for potential abnormalities within seconds.

Early detection is especially critical in primary care. SENSORA® highlights subtle cardiovascular indicators that might be missed during traditional auscultation. Even a 15-second recording can be used to assess risk for important cardiac findings.

The platform supports detection of structural heart murmurs, atrial fibrillation, and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (≤40%), enabling timely referral for further diagnostics, such as in cardiology.

SENSORA® combines AI-based analysis of heart sounds and ECG data with a structured exam workflow and integrates seamlessly into clinical practice. Compatible with Eko CORE 500™ and Littmann® CORE digital stethoscopes, it supports health facilities in implementing AI-driven cardiac diagnostics in routine care.

Early identification of potential heart disease helps guide referrals, initiate treatment sooner, and improve patient care outcomes.

Note: The software supports clinical assessment and does not replace a medical diagnosis. Interpretation of results should always be performed by qualified medical personnel.
