Product Description
The Littmann Cardiology IV Stem Edition Stethoscope combines excellent acoustic performance with a distinctive, colour-accented design. It is designed for demanding auscultation and helps detect faint heart sounds and high-frequency sounds.
The dual-head chestpiece features two highly sensitive, single-piece dual-frequency diaphragms for precise auscultation of both adult and paediatric patients. The frequency range can be adjusted simply by varying the pressure applied to the diaphragm. The smaller diaphragm can also be replaced with a non-chill rim to create an open bell, providing additional flexibility for paediatric auscultation.
The dual-lumen tubing design helps minimise friction noise for clear sound transmission. The tubing is resistant to skin oils and alcohol, making it durable and easy to clean. Soft ear tips and adjustable anodised aluminium binaurals provide a comfortable fit while helping to block out ambient noise.
Measuring approximately 69 cm in length, the stethoscope features a lightweight stainless steel chestpiece weighing 87 g. It combines robust construction with comfortable handling and comes with a seven-year manufacturer’s warranty. The stethoscope complies with ISO 15223 requirements and is classified as a Class I medical device.
The Stem Edition is finished with a colour-contrasting connector between the chestpiece and tubing, giving the stethoscope a distinctive look.
