Sterile Tube Covers
Sterile tube covers are used to protect against contamination of aspirator tubes, inflators or the tubes of angle pieces and turbines. The pipe-shaped, polyethylene protective covers are meant for a one-time use and, depending on specification, can be fastened with adhesive strips or an elastic band. Common unsterilisable tubes that are used for orthodontic surgery are protected from debris and contamination by the sterile tube covers.
