Transfusion Sets and Blood Bags

Veterinary transfusion sets are used to administer blood or blood components from a donor to a recipient animal following significant blood loss due to trauma, surgery, or acute illness. In veterinary practice, both allogeneic and, in rare cases, autologous transfusions may be performed.
